  1. Select the\u00a0Plus icon (+)<\/strong>\u00a0on the\u00a0Toolbar.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Under Employees, select\u00a0Single Time Activity<\/b>.<\/li>\n
  3. In the\u00a0Date<\/strong>\u00a0field, enter the date the activity occurred.The current date is automatically entered in the\u00a0Date<\/strong>\u00a0field, but you can change it if necessary.<\/li>\n
  4. From the\u00a0Name\u00a0<\/b>drop-down list, select the name of the employee or supplier.<\/li>\n
  5. To track expenses for a specific customer, select the customer name from the\u00a0Customer<\/strong>\u00a0drop-down list.<\/li>\n
  6. (Optional)If you use services to enter time, use the\u00a0Service<\/strong>\u00a0drop-down list to select a service that represents this activity.<\/li>\n
  7. To bill the activity to a customer, select the\u00a0Billable<\/b>\u00a0checkbox to open the additional fields, select the\u00a0Taxable<\/strong>\u00a0checkbox if the activity is taxable, and, if you are allowed to change the rate at which an activity is billed, make sure that\u00a0Bill at rate per hr<\/b>\u00a0is correct.\n

    1. (Optional)Select a location from the drop-down list in the\u00a0Location\/Department<\/b>\u00a0field and a class from the\u00a0Class<\/strong>\u00a0drop-down list.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    2. Enter the number of hours and minutes worked in the\u00a0Time<\/b>\u00a0field.Alternatively, you can select the\u00a0Enter Start<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0End Times<\/strong>\u00a0checkbox to open the\u00a0Start time<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0End time<\/strong>\u00a0fields to enter the time the work started and ended, and the amount of time taken for\u00a0Break<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    3. Select\u00a0Save and close<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0Save and new<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
