Invite employees to view paychecks and W-2\u2019s Online<\/p>\n<p>Now you don\u2019t have to worry about printing and mailing pay stubs and forms. Your employees can just sign in to their QuickBooks Workforce account, and see their latest or past paychecks, W-2\u2019s, and other employee info. We\u2019ll show you how to send them an invite to QuickBooks Workforce.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Have QuickBooks Desktop?<\/strong>\u00a0This article is for QuickBooks Online Payroll. Once they accept their invite, they\u2019ll be able to create their own Intuit account and manage their own login, notification settings, and security info.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/quickbookexperts.com\/Blog\/category\/quickbooks\/quickbooks-online\/\">QuickBooks Online<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>From the left, select the\u00a0<strong>Workers<\/strong>\u00a0menu.\n<ul>\n<li>For a new employee, select\u00a0<strong>Add an employee<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>For an existing employee, select the employee\u2019s name, then select the pencil icon next to\u00a0<strong>Pay<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>In Personal info section, add your employee\u2019s email address, then select <strong>Invite employees to view paychecks and W-2\u2019s<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select\u00a0<strong>Done<\/strong>. The invitation will be emailed to your employee. Once they accept the invite, you\u2019ll see a message &#8220;Good news! Your employee is ready to view their pay stubs and W-2&#8217;s online&#8221; in Personal info section.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>: If you need to resend a Workforce invite, you can go back to this screen, then select\u00a0<strong>Resend<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"toc-hId--878764065\">What\u2019s next<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Here\u2019s how your employees can\u00a0set up and use QuickBooks Workforce.<\/li>\n<li>After running payroll, your employees will get emails telling them that their paychecks are now available.<\/li>\n<li>Your employees\u2019 W-2 copies B, C, and 2 will be available in Workforce 24-48 hours after filing.Note that W-2\u2019s for the prior calendar year only become available to employers on January 1st.
