Learn What is Open Id 2.0 Deprecation, How Open ID 2.0 Deprecation or Open id 2.0 in Intuit QuickBooks<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"e2ma-style\"><strong>QuickBooks is deprecating OpenID 2.0 as of Friday May 31, 2019.<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>What\u2019s happening?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As a developer using OpenID 2.0 for the\u00a0<span class=\"e2ma-style\"><em>Sign In With Intuit<\/em><\/span><span class=\"e2ma-style\">\u00a0flow for one or more of your apps, we wanted to notify you of the new deprecation date for this technology: May 31, 2019. This change has been put in place because our\u00a0platform team has identified the migration to OpenID Connect as a critical update. The date for the OAuth 1.0 migration has not changed and remains December 17, 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"e2ma-style\"><strong>What does this mean for you?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>You need to decide what changes you want to make in your app. There are\u00a0<span class=\"e2ma-style\"><em><u>two options<\/u>\u00a0<\/em><\/span><span class=\"e2ma-style\">available that are\u00a0detailed below. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"e2ma-style\"><strong><em>Migrate your app and all users to OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0If you do this by May 31, 2019 you\u2019ll be providing your customers with the best experience possible. Learn more\u00a0here.\u00a0Information on our OAuth 2.0 migration program\u00a0here.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"e2ma-style\"><strong><em>Turn off OpenID 2.0. <\/em><\/strong>Your customers will no longer have access to Single Sign-on, and will connect to your app using the Connect to QuickBooks method. We suggest starting work now if you decide to move forward with this option so you can test the customer experience and let your customers know about the change. Here are details about how to disable support for OpenID 2.0 and enable the Learn More flow for your app: <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong><span class=\"e2ma-style\"><em>If your app uses the Get App Now connection flow on Apps.com:<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"e2ma-style\">You need to implement support for the Learn More flow in your app if that is not already supported. The Learn More flow (non-Single Sign On route) will take your customers directly to your app\u2019s login page.
