Learn How to add your payroll information in QuickBooks Desktop Payroll.<\/p>\n

Employee self-setup is a new feature that saves both you and your employer\u2019s time. It\u2019s an easy setup that starts with an invite from your employer for you to enter details and adjust your payroll preferences to know How to add payroll information.<\/p>\n

\"QuickBooks<\/a><\/p>\n

Accept the email invite from your employer<\/h2>\n
    \n
  1. Search for the email invitation from\u00a0QBOPayrollNoreply@intuit.com<\/a> with the subject line: Setup Employee.
    \nNote<\/b>: Don\u2019t see the invite? Check your spam folder. Or let your employer know about it. It\u2019s possible they used an incorrect email.<\/li>\n
  2. Open the email, then select\u00a0Complete setup now\u00a0<\/b>to accept the invite. You will be directed to the Intuit Sign in page.<\/li>\n
  3. If you already have an Intuit account, enter User ID and Password, then select Sign in. \u00a0Otherwise, select\u00a0Sign up<\/b>.
    \nNote<\/b>: Your Intuit account login is different from your company file login. Learn moreabout your Intuit account.
    \nHaving trouble signing in? Select\u00a0I forgot my user ID or password<\/b>.<\/li>\n
  4. Complete all requested information (personal, bank account, and taxes). Bank account only appears if your employer has selected to pay via direct deposit.<\/b>
    \nNote:<\/b>\u00a0If you do not have a bank account, select\u00a0Get a prepaid debit card\u00a0<\/b>to use a Paycard instead. Or if you want a paper check, ask your employer to edit payroll Setup and resend the invite.<\/li>\n
  5. After reviewing all entered information, select\u00a0Submit<\/strong>\u00a0to send the details to your employer for review. You will receive a thank you notification for submitting the requested info to your employer.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Note:<\/strong>\u00a0The self-setup is completed after your employer has reviewed and approved the entries.<\/p>\n
