Select\u00a0<strong>Custom Reports<\/strong>, then\u00a0<strong>Transaction Detail<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>From the<strong>\u00a0Dates<\/strong>\u00a0drop-down, select\u00a0<strong>All<\/strong>. Select\u00a0<strong>OK<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Double-click on a transaction with a memo.<\/li>\n<li>Delete the memo, then select\u00a0<strong>Save &amp; Close<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Repeat steps c and d for all the other transactions.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Re-sort lists.<\/li>\n<li>Run verify and rebuild on your company file.<\/li>\n<li>Close QuickBooks.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2 id=\"toc-hId--876146211\">Step 2: Convert your company file<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong>\u00a0You can only move company files from QuickBooks Desktop Pro or Premier.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Update QuickBooks for Desktop to the latest release.<\/li>\n<li>Open the file as the administrator.<\/li>\n<li>Go to the<strong>\u00a0File<\/strong>\u00a0menu, then select\u00a0<strong>Utilities<\/strong>. Select\u00a0<strong>Copy Company File for QuickBooks Mac<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>If you see &#8220;It looks like \u2018QuickBooks for Windows\u2019 might be a better fit for your company,&#8221; you may want to consider staying in QuickBooks for Windows. If you&#8217;re sure you want to continue, select\u00a0<strong>Yes<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Go to the folder you want to save the file in. Name the file, and select\u00a0<strong>Save<\/strong>. Make sure you don&#8217;t add special characters in the file name.<\/li>\n<li>Move the file to your Mac by using any storage device such as DVD, flash drive, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Restore the file in your QuickBooks for Mac.<\/li>\n<li>Voila!
