First, let’s switch to an incognito browser then login to QuickBooks Online. Use one of the following keyboard shortcuts to open a private window:

 

  • Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
  • Internet Explorer: Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Safari: Command+Shift+N

Alternatively, you can clear cache or delete your temporary internet files. You may receive an error when working in QuickBooks Online if your browser is holding too much data from previous browsing sessions. Also, if you’re updating your payroll information, such as EIN, make sure your e-services is not active. Fix QuickBooks Error code 7000 is often associated with that. Perform these steps to turn off e-services:

 

 

  1. Click the Gear icon and Select Payroll Settings.
  2. Choose E-file and e-pay.
  3. Mark the Manually with paper coupons 
  4. Hit Next.
