Time sheet options and fields Enter time activity
- Select the Plus icon (+) on the Toolbar.
- Under Employees, select Single Time Activity.
- In the Date field, enter the date the activity occurred.The current date is automatically entered in the Date field, but you can change it if necessary.
- From the Name drop-down list, select the name of the employee or supplier.
- To track expenses for a specific customer, select the customer name from the Customer drop-down list.
- (Optional)If you use services to enter time, use the Service drop-down list to select a service that represents this activity.
- To bill the activity to a customer, select the Billable checkbox to open the additional fields, select the Taxable checkbox if the activity is taxable, and, if you are allowed to change the rate at which an activity is billed, make sure that Bill at rate per hr is correct.
- (Optional)Select a location from the drop-down list in the Location/Department field and a class from the Class drop-down list.
- Enter the number of hours and minutes worked in the Time field.Alternatively, you can select the Enter Start and End Times checkbox to open the Start time and End time fields to enter the time the work started and ended, and the amount of time taken for Break.
- Select Save and close or Save and new.
